Tilt-Up/Up and Over Canopy Garage Doors – Made of one solid piece and pivots to tilt up into the garage. The door sits out past the house when open.

Tilt-Up/Up and Over Retractable Garage Doors – Similar to the canopy design, these doors lift up and go completely into the garage, suspended by a frame, thus no door goes out past the front of your home. They require a lot of space, are expensive, and difficult to operate compared to the other garage door styles.
